Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Chargatt website and, where relevant, the Chargatt charging network. By using either, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Chargatt Private Limited is registered in India and operates under Indian law.

You must follow the safety instructions displayed at every site and any instruction given by Chargatt staff. Do not attempt to open, modify or repair charging equipment. Do not use a connector that is visibly damaged — report it instead.

You are responsible for ensuring that your vehicle is compatible with the connector you select and that it is in a condition safe to charge. Charging is at your own risk.

Bays are for vehicles actively charging. We may apply idle fees where a vehicle occupies a bay after its session has completed, and those fees will always be displayed before you begin.

The tariff applicable to a session is shown before you start it. Tariffs vary by site, connector and time of day, and may change without notice — but never mid-session.

Payment is taken automatically when a session ends. A GST invoice is issued to the email address on your account. If a payment fails, we may suspend access until it is resolved.

Refunds for failed or interrupted sessions are handled case by case and, where the fault is ours, in your favour.

We work hard to keep every connector available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Grid outages, maintenance and faults happen. Published uptime figures are historical measurements, not a promise of future availability.

Live availability shown in the app or on this site is our best current information and may briefly lag reality.

Nothing on this website is an offer, a guarantee of returns, or a promise that any particular site will be approved. All figures published here — payback periods, margins, timelines — are illustrative ranges based on past sites, not projections for yours.

Any franchise relationship is governed exclusively by the signed agreement between you and Chargatt Private Limited. Where these terms and that agreement differ, the agreement prevails.

The Chargatt name, logo, artwork, written content and software on this site belong to Chargatt Private Limited. You may not copy, reproduce or reuse them commercially without written permission.

You may link to this site freely, and you may quote short excerpts with attribution.

To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law, Chargatt Private Limited is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the website or the network — including lost profit, lost time or missed opportunity.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the value of the charging sessions concerned.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bathinda, Punjab have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
